I’ve used Xfinity internet for years and have always been very pleased so I added the home security option this time and so far I have not been disappointed. It is much cheaper than the competitors. The no contract option was a huge bonus.

I have spent three hours over 2 days trying to get an appointment for a technician to fix my home security system. Xfinity is unresponsive, have a list of things they want you to do when it is obvious some of their equipment is not working properly. Only under threat of termination did they agree to send a tech in a week and charge me $49. Till them I have no security and a beeping noise that goes off every three minutes. Can't sleep they don't care!!

I had switched to ADT and was very unhappy with the service and product operation. Vivint's doorbell camera had better quality and recorded clips very well. ADT's doorbell camera would not even record any clips and it was difficult to even view the camera. I switched back to Vivint and had much difficulty with ADT in the switching process. Vivint's equipment and service far exceeds the standard of the other company.

Sold home April 2023 due to health reasons. Moved to small apartment. Vivint system already paid off. Vivint is still illegally getting paid through my bank. The people who bought the house are also paying monthly fees. For monthly service. I've filed a report with BBB. Next will be my lawyer. I'm 75. This problem Vivint created is not only illegal but a crime against the elderly.
Xfinity and Vivint are both good companies, but the overall best appears to be Vivint. That said, it's our pleasure to give you accurate, up-to-date, and relevant information and it's up to you to choose the company that best matches your situation and needs.
