When comparing Ring and Vivint home security systems, both offer unique features that may be appealing to different types of homeowners. Ring is known for its affordable pricing, ease of installation, and DIY approach, making it a popular option for those who are budget-conscious and want to install and monitor their own system. On the other hand, Vivint is known for its advanced features, comprehensive services, professional installation, and professional monitoring so you aren't the one having to make the 911 call if your home is at risk or being broken into, making it a more expensive but more complete and fully customizable option for those who want a more robust security system. Both Ring and Vivint offer mobile apps that allow homeowners to remotely control and monitor their systems, and both offer video surveillance and smart home automation capabilities. Ultimately, the choice between Ring and Vivint will depend on individual preferences and needs, such as budget, level of customization, and desired features. Ring and Vivint are both good companies, but the overall best appears to be Vivint. That said, it's our job to get you accurate, up-to-date, and relevant information so you can find the best company for you.

I love Ring! Ring is a part of my daily life. I find myself on my app, watching camera footage of my home, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day! I feel safe in my home knowing that Ring has my back!My Ring doorbell is the best! I can communicate with people at my front door, while I'm at work if need be. I love the app, the quality of the footage and that I have multiple (6) camera's added to my app. I also love that I can talk to my dog through the camera if I catch her doing something naught. Freaks her out everytime. Ha! Ha! Thanks, Ring! I highly recommened anyone to have these camera's.

Ring Doorbell is not that great! Ring doesn't capture what's important. For example! Someone hit my neighbor car and Ring missed that capture. Ring Door Bell is not worth the price they charge for it.

I had switched to ADT and was very unhappy with the service and product operation. Vivint's doorbell camera had better quality and recorded clips very well. ADT's doorbell camera would not even record any clips and it was difficult to even view the camera. I switched back to Vivint and had much difficulty with ADT in the switching process. Vivint's equipment and service far exceeds the standard of the other company.

Sold home April 2023 due to health reasons. Moved to small apartment. Vivint system already paid off. Vivint is still illegally getting paid through my bank. The people who bought the house are also paying monthly fees. For monthly service. I've filed a report with BBB. Next will be my lawyer. I'm 75. This problem Vivint created is not only illegal but a crime against the elderly.
Ring and Vivint are both good companies, but the overall best appears to be Vivint if you are looking for professional 3rd party monitoring when you're on vacation or away from your home. That said, it's our pleasure to give you accurate, up-to-date, and relevant information and it's up to you to choose the company that best matches your situation and needs.
