They've always been right there for us any time we have had to use them. They're very friendly and they're just very very professional. I used it recently on my air conditioner. My experience with the guy they sent out was awesome. He addressed the problem immediately, no questions asked. He took care of the problem with no issues. Every time they have sent someone out, they've just been very professional and have addressed the problem immediately.

Choice responded quickly to my claim (A/C broke down in 104 degree weather) and scheduled service call. The issue I had was the repair company Choice used. The repairman showed up as scheduled and was professional and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, told me he was going to get approval to repair my A/C and would be back the next day or day after. Three days later, I tried calling repair company for a status but they would answer their phone and their voicemail was full. Send electronic message to Choice and received a response and they scheduled the repairman to come two days later. In all, it took one week for my A/C to be repaired. It was a simple repair - replacing a fan motor. Choice could use a better repair company.

I thought they would be different and pass on conversations to the people that needed to know when I called in and told them my phone was down for a week. Ii gave them my sister's phone number and that is all that got passed to whoever. I didn't hear about that I might have to pay 250.00 dollars until they had already took my 100.00. I f I had been told this they wouldn't have got my money. I am so angry and disappointed that I wasn't told, then they tell me to read my online info which I have none of and didn't receive anything about what it pays and don't pay. You can cancel my claim since I don't have 250.00 dollars to pay. L Carol J.

I was very unhappy with the reimbursement process for the leak behind wall issue. I submitted a claim for service. Choice's response - "We can dispatch a plumber in 4-days or 96 hours. Meaning allow water and ruin your property or belongings until our service provider arrives! Unsatisfactory in view as a water leak results in a flooded basement, etc. Suggest you change the way you do business by dispatching your service providers immediately or FULLY REIMBURSE THE CUSTOMER HIS/HER FUNDS FOR HAVING THE ISSUE RESOLVED. Why? Choice would have, most likely paid their service the provided the same amount of money. In a nutshell...piss poor service and customer care!

We bought the Choice Home warranty more than three years ago, we were pleasantly surprised when our furnace decided to stop putting out heat last winter, we called Choice. They had a local HAVC company give us a call, came out and gave us a good price for the replacement. They gave us their top amount which wound up being about half the cost. I have had choice home warranty for over 10 years. While as of late, they have approved a couple of claims, prior to that I was denied on what I considered legitimate claims. I had to speak to an executive with a decision to discontinue my coverage before they became more accommodating to my claims. I gave not made many claims over the years. However, when I file, I expect to be accommodated.

I previously had a policy with Choice. While I only required 1 service call it was completed on time. My new policy required. a technician to service my 16 years old Maytag washer. The call was promptly answered and it was declared that the machine parts that were required were no longer available. They sent a check for $625, but it took 1 month. This is never explained in the policy. It’s a very long time without a washer. Don’t understand why this payment could not be more speedy

Had an electrical problem on one side of our house that ended up being a bad GFI. All electrical outlets were not working despite it running the refrigerator. One outlet still not working, but wasn’t covered under warranty. Happy to have everything mostly covered and fixed; however, disappointed that the one outlet was not covered. Overall, great service.

we chose Choice Home Warranty first because they had a good deal if you get the 3 year or the 5 year package, while our previous Home warranty was raising the price year after year, and their service was ok but very slow, to get hold of a real person to speak to was a nightmare. with Choice HW they answer the call or they call back within the same day depending on how urgent the situation is. they send a technician with in 2-3 days and eventually they take care of the issue in timely manner.

They cover things that my American home warranty didn't cover Or did a higher price! I love the fact most of the people that come out to do the repair are paid the service fee when they get here by me! Their response to my claim was fast. They had a contractor assigned and provided me with the contractor information within 48 hours. I was contacted by the contractor and appointment made within 72 hours. Parts had to be ordered and the service tech scheduled and met the final repair date. The contractor was over 2 hours from my location but made all appointments on time. The previous warranty company that I had had for 15 years didn’t always have service contractors who would service my area and I usually had to find my own contractor and pay for the work that needed to be accomplished and then argue with them to provide reimbursement.

I had to file two claims last month. Both went smoothly. The appointments were scheduled fast. The work was done by two different contractors and both were professional and fixed what needed to fixed. It was easy to ask for service online. They didn’t make me tell them all my serial and model numbers for my items. They also didn’t send me emails and phone calls making me call them back. I didn’t have to do too much work to get them send help. I really appreciated how easy this was. My last home warranty company was extremely frustrating and always tried to get out of paying. So far, I’m happy with Choice Warranty. It’s amazing when people do their jobs.

The policy worked well for us, and the technicians were assigned in a timely manner during the first year of our policy, which was included with the purchase of our home five years ago. After that first year, we decided to continue the coverage and get a longer service contract. The quality of service has declined since then and the wait time for technicians to be assigned has increased. I am currently almost 2 weeks waiting for someone to fix or diagnose the problem with my water heater.

When we originally signed up with you we thought it was a good idea as we had some appliances theat were starting to age. Whenour ice maker quit working we had great service. Then our dish washer was having issues and we were told it could not be fixed due to its age and you sent us a check for 400.00 to purchase a new one. Then our washer started having issues and we were told it could not be fixed because of age and thats when we started having problems with you. First you said we would get a gifty card from Lowes and that never happened, then you said you would send us a check and that has not happened so now we are thinking of going else where. A friend had recommended using them, after the Home Warranty company we were using hiked up their pricing plan significantly. We are currently discontent with the service we have received. Long delays in getting a repair done or deeming it unrepairable. Problems getting technicians out here to look at the broken items. The money received by this warranty company to replace the unrepairable appliance will not cover replacing the item, just a percentage of its cost.

Had to wait over 2 months in the dead of winter with no heat in sub freezing weather to wait for them to send several different service people who couldn’t fix my tankless hot water heating unit. I found my own plumber to work on it and after 3 weeks of trying to get my plumber to deal with Choice to help them with upload there photos and diagnosis, choice declined to pay claiming it wasn’t regular wear and tear of the system. Practically 3 months without heat only to be declined the claim while we sat in one room with a space heater and still and to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. (Which could have been done the week it broke!)

I have been trying to put in a claim and customer service has been great about helping me through the process to make sure the claim is put in correct for my Septic needs. I put in a request 3/13/2026, however my septic did need pumping so i had to hire someone for the job, i will be putting in for reimbursement soon, I am in need to have my septic looked at for leach field repair. I currently have an open claim for this work to be performed. I called the company to reach out to Choice Home Warranty to accept the job for this open claim for processing.

I signed up with Choice Home Warranty due to advertisement that appealed to me by featuring it as convenient, professional & comprehensive service covering all appliances . I had one claim earlier on to repair a dryer that went quite well. However, I may not continue after a recent experience: I put a claim in on 3/14/26 for a refrigerator repair (leaking fluid from underneath). They took my service fee of $100 and scheduled technician appt (w/Home Technology Solutions) for 3/16/26 between 11 am - 3pm. I took off work to be home for the appt. only to be called at 11:38 am ( 3/16/26) by HTS to collect information and be advised no service technician would be coming out today and it could be up to 24-48 hours for a technician appt to be scheduled. A new appt has been rescheduled for 3/23/26. That's a 9 day wait time with fluid continuing to leak out from underneath the refrigerator. Despite towels surrounding apliance and fan the leak is now impacting kitchen flooring (seeping underneath vinyl flooring). I'm not at all pleased with this extended wait time and will likely incurr additional expense to repair some flooring. MaryJo S.

I searched around for a while and settled with choice home warranty and so far I have been very happy. Easy to submit a claim and easy to deal with the process. The only thing I wish they did, was to allow check ups on appliances… You can only call them when something breaks. You cannot call to have your refrigerator or any of your appliances a wellness check… They don’t do that that’s my only problem.

Great job by the technicians to actually get the job done and done well! However, the initial appointment day and time changed a couple times from the initial appointment to the actual one. Hence the reason for 4 stars. Had I not been working from home, it could have been an issue. Only mentioning this because this is not the first time it has happened. Just a bit of tidying up with appointment, scheduling and communication to the technicians would help to make Choice Home Warranty exemplary.

I am extremely disappointed that choice warranty did not pay the full contract price for my plumbing. They said Choice do not pay for rerouting and I had a hot water leak in my bathroom floor. They would only pay $500 per the contract for someone to bust up my floor but I was responsible to repair it back. They would pay for a plumber to repair the leak. It took them weeks and couldn’t find anyone. They gave me the option to find someone but Choice still had to approve the work order, so I told them to find the plumber themselves. After weeks they could only find a plumber to reroute. Choice only paid $500. I feel Choice should have paid my full contract price because the plumber they chose was doing the round they approved.

I thought when I started that they would take care of things. One of the springs on my garage door was broken in two places. The other spring was not broken but it had been through the same things that the other side had been through. The Likly hood is that it will break is very high. I was told that they only fix broken things. The second spring is working on borrowed time. I was real disappointed when I was told that they would not replace it. When it breaks there is another $85 for us to pay out. The company that came was excellent to work with.

I chose Choice Home Warranty because it was listed as the best home warranty company. I already had a home warranty with a different company, and it was time to renew, the cost had gone up, and Choice was less expensive for the same coverage, so I switched. When I had to make a claim, I was pleased with how quickly they responded, but things went down from there. My contractor was finally assigned - it took 2 days - but he was unable to do the needed repair because his tools were being repaired, so it would be at least a week before he could get here, and I had raw sewerage leaking into my basement at the time. I contacted Choice and was told I could get my own contractor and have him make the repair, but I would have to have choice approve it before any work could be done. This did not make me a happy customer, and I almost demanded my money returned so I could contract with a different company. I cooled down, jumped through the required hoops for Choice, got the repair done and last week received my refund check for paying the contractor. I am a bit disappointed that there was no one available to do the work in my area, which is what I was assured by the salesperson I talked to when I joined. I will see how much difficulty I encounter the next time I have a claim.

I was very pleased until I had a problem with my AC and the service man ,told me to send a video of what was happening to it , then he call me back and said that they had told him that it was nothing that had to do with CHOICE ,so it was nothing he coul do ,and he never came to look at it physically , I called a friend ,who gave a phone number of a friend of him , and he man came back, and fix it with a small part , he charged me $300 ,and it's been working for month ,four other times i call for my stove, (twice) and then 2. different times for my cloth washer and they were taking care very soon by some very profesional and nice workers

Furnace went out, our service that tuned up the a/c and furnace quoted nearly a $900 fix, we called Choice and within 10 minutes we had a referral for a company to fix the furnace. The company Choice sent arrived on time, and replaced a $10 part and the furnace fired right up and has been working correctly since! We only had to pay the $ 75 service fee. We will be using that company for our semi annual check ups from now on.

I've had a yearly Choice Home Warranty since 2021 but had never placed a claim. Then in Nov'25, I upgraded to a 3 1/2 yr coverage plan, which was more advantageous for me. Shortly after, I finally needed to file a claim for plumbing problems. Because of different issues, it took about 1 1/2 months to get everything resolved, including following up to get reimbursed for replacement of my bathroom faucet. Sent receipt for item and check, including tax, being sent which should be received within 30 days. Hopefully, I won't experience any other problems requiring another claim to be placed soon!

We had plumbing/water issues in the shower. Before I called Choice Hoke Warranty (CHW), I called in a few other plumbers. I was hoping to save the $75 fee initially. They either didn't know how to fix this problem or were scamming me for massive payments that I felt were not nearly warranted. When I called CHW, they immediately dispatched the plumber from one the local vendors. What surprised me most was the fact that he immediately came in with all his equipment and diagnostics/cameras and immediately stared to diagnose the problem. The previous plumbers came in to look and assess, but didn't even bother to bring in their tools first. They were almost looking to first diagnose whether I would be willing to Pay their exorbitant rates. This vendor however (from Innovative Plumbing Everyday LLC) was amazing! Instead of trying to play me (scam me) like a fiddle - he immediately went to work and diagnose. Within an hour the entire job was done! No haggling, No negotiating, No BS. Furthermore, the technician's name was Ivan/Vanya. He was exceptionally professional and extremely capable. If I ever need to have a plumber on site again - I will beg CHW to only send me Ivan. I could not be happier with his work ethics and his ability to resolve the problem effectively - without any BS. Excellent choice of an amazing Vendor; contracted via CHW!!!

What I like about choice home warranty was the quick service that I got on the phone but in reality the service that I got from the technician was very lacking. The gentleman never showed up when he was supposed to and then he was late when he finally did show up and it's been a few months now and I still don't have the electric hook up to my stove or my kitchen or whatever else needs fixed. He was supposed to be here on December 30th and he said he called me but there's no record of him calling me so I have no idea what's up but I do like choice home warranty because they live up to their promises and I am very thankful that I got them I also do hope to see my technician very soon like he said he would be here.

If the repair is a simple appliance like washer, dryer or dishwasher, I haven’t had too many issues. I have had issues getting a tech for my AC and garage door opener. Many techs won’t work with a warranty company or don’t want to just do the quick fix. I have had to wait a long time while they try to find a part before replacing the device.
